Day Trip Tarangire National Park

Take a day trip to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds, old baobab trees, and rich wildlife. Tarangire, called the “Land of Giants,” has one of the biggest elephant populations in Africa, with herds that can reach up to 300 elephants roaming its wide open spaces. In addition to these gentle giants, you can see buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and rare antelope species like the fringe-eared oryx and gerenuk. The park’s exciting landscape features impressive baobab trees and seasonal swamps, making it perfect for watching wildlife. Tarangire is also great for birdwatching, with more than 550 bird species, including the well-known yellow-collared lovebird and kori bustard.
