Zanzibar is a semi-autonomous region of Tanzania in East Africa. It is composed of the Zanzibar Archipelago in the Indian Ocean, 25–50 kilometers (16–31 mi) off the coast of the mainland, and consists of many small islands and two large ones: Unguja (the main island, referred to informally as Zanzibar) and Pemba Island. The capital is Zanzibar City, located on the island of Unguja. Its historic centre is Stone Town, which is a World Heritage Site

Day 03: Stone Town/East of Zanzibar Island, Jambiani Beach
Breakfast and transfer to East of Zanzibar Island, Jambiani Beach
Jambiani Beach is a quintessential tropical paradise, with a lengthy 7km long stretch of powdery white sand fringed by coconut palms that starts just south of Paje beach and runs down to the southeast edge of the island. Low tide reveals the unique seaweed farms cultivated by local women and provides an opportunity to explore the shallow waters which are almost entirely without rocks and sea urchins. Jambiani offers an intimate look at traditional Zanzibari life. From the seaweed farms that are tended mostly by women to the fishermen who head out each day in their traditional dhows, there are numerous opportunities to gain insights into the local culture.
